Backxwash Announces New Album Only Dust Remains


Zambian Canadian rapper and producer Backxwash has announced a new album. Only Dust Remains is out March 28 on the artist’s own label, Ugly Hag, and features the previously released single “Wake Up.” A new song from the project is due out February 27. Backxwash’s last album, 2022’s His Happiness Shall Come First Even Though We Are Suffering, completed a trilogy that also included 2021’s I Lie Here Buried With My Rings and My Dresses and 2020’s Polaris Prize–winning God Has Nothing to Do With This Leave Him Out Of It.
