Mogwai Announce New Album, Share Video for New Song “Lion Rumpus”: Watch


Mogwai have announced a new album: The Bad Fire is the Scottish post-rock veterans’ eleventh, and their first produced by John Congleton. It comes out on January 24, via Temporary Residence Ltd./Rock Action. Featured on the album is last month’s “God Gets You Back” and today’s new song, “Lion Rumpus.” The latter comes with a video featuring Glasgow native Lawrence “Larry” Wilson walking dogs in New York. It was directed by Antony Crook, who helmed the Mogwai documentary If The Stars Had A Sound. Watch it below.

Mogwai will begin their tour in support of The Bad Fire in February. The tour stretches into May.
