Cardi B is back with a new song, “Outside,” following its premiere at a Cannes afterparty. Charlie Heat and HeyMicki are credited as producers on the track, and DJ SwanQo provided co-production. Listen to the song below.
“Outside” is Cardi B’s first solo song in some 15 months, following “Enough (Miami)”—which, in turn, was her first formal solo single since 2021’s “Up.” In the meantime, she has released numerous collaborations, including 2023’s “Bongos” (and a remix) with Megan Thee Stallion, and another remix with SZA and Flo Milli. The long-brewing follow-up to Invasion of Privacy, her 2018 album, remains unannounced, and it is unclear which, if any, of the interim singles will feature.
