Addison Rae Stars in Trailer for New Netflix Show Monster: The Ed Gein Story: Watch

Four years after making her acting debut in Netflix’s She’s All That remake, He’s All That, Addison Rae has returned to the streamer. She appears in Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story as Evelyn Hartley, an alleged victim of the murderer and grave robber. Watch Rae in the limited series’ first trailer, which is soundtracked by Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s A Sin,” below.

Gein was confirmed to have killed two women in Plainfield, Wisconsin during the 1950s. The films Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Silence of the Lambs all drew inspiration from his crimes. Hartley went missing in 1953, and while Gein was suspected, he denied any involvement in her disappearance. Hartley’s remains were not found among those Gein kept in his home.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story will premiere on Netflix on Friday, October 3. The third entry in Murphy and Brennan’s true crime anthology series—previous installments have centered on Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez brothers—stars Charlie Hunnam as Gein and Laurie Metcalf as his mother. Rae shared her debut album, Addison, in June.
