Kacey Musgraves was on two episodes of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert this week. On the Tuesday night episode, she performed her Deeper Well song “Arm’s Length.” On the episode aired the prevoius night, she sat down with Stephen Colbert to discuss her friendship with the late John Prine, as well as her album’s aesthetic, which she has described as “soft nature cottage witch.” Watch it all go down below.
Musgraves is currently on tour in support of Deeper Well. There are a dozen dates left at this point, all of which take place in the United States and feature Lord Huron and Nickel Creek as openers.
Back at the start of the year, Musgraves won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the Zach Bryan collaboration “I Remember Everything.” That evening, she teased new music during a commercial, foreshadowing Deeper Well’s release. She has since served as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
