Nine Inch Nails has won Best Rock Song for “As Alive as You Need Me to Be” at the 2026 Grammys. The other nominees were Hayley Williams (“Glum”), Sleep Token (“Caramel”), Turnstile (“Never Enough”), and Yungblud (“Zombie”).
This was Nine Inch Nails’ lone nomination this year, although the group have been up for 13 Grammys over the years, two of which—Best Metal Performance for “Wish” in 1992 and “Happiness in Slavery” in 1995—they won. Meanwhile, this is the first year that Yungblud and Sleep Token were ever in the running, with the English pop-punker getting three nods and the masked metal band earning one nomination.
In 2025, St. Vincent won the Best Rock Song Grammy Award for “Broken Man.” While thanking people during her acceptance speech, Annie Clark revealed that she’s happily married and is raising a daughter.
