How Noah Kahan’s Authentic Storytelling Resonates With Fans

Noah Kahan continues his rise in the music world as his latest single, “The Great Divide,” surges to number one on the charts within the Hot Rock & Alternative category. The Vermont-born singer-songwriter, already beloved for his honest lyrics and infectious melodies, has struck a new chord with listeners through this powerful track.

This moment represents the first number one single for Kahan, after reaching number two with “Sarah’s Place” with Zach Bryan and “Stick Season” his fan-favorite and breakout track.

“The Great Divide” weaves a story of emotional distance and the struggle to connect in an increasingly complex world. Kahan’s signature storytelling shines bright in this track, familiar to current fans and enticing to future ones. It is clear that the climatic chorus and arrangement is taking hold, as it is growing tremendously in real-time on various platforms, with nearly 20 million U.S. streams alone.

“The Great Divide” is the first release from Kahan’s fourth studio album, which will be realeased in full on April 24th. Kahan’s recent album Stick Season was a true watershed moment for Kahan, with many more to come.

Following the release of the album, Kahan will embark on a robust U.S. tour starting June 11th in Orlando, which spans through Aug. 30 in Seattle. All tour dates can be found here.
