Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory have shared a new song. “Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)” is the second preview of the self-titled album from the new band, following lead single “Afterlife.” Watch the new track’s video below.

“Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)” is about “trying to understand people with very different perspectives and backgrounds, while also trying to be compassionate towards our past, present, and future selves,” Van Etten said in a press statement.

Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory are also extending their previously announced European tour with a run of North American shows, supported by Love Spells. Find all of the tour dates below.
