British punks Lambrini Girls are back with their first new music in over a year. In “Cult of Celebrity,” Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira tear into the dark hypocrisy of the wealthy elite, particularly following the headlines of recent years. The new song comes with a devilish music video directed by Harv Frost, which you can watch below.
“The age old tale of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years,” Lambrini Girls said when unveiling the track. “However, due to recent events come to light – it turns out that the elite are very much actually the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.”
Lunny and Macieira have been performing together as Lambrini Girls for seven years now, but didn’t release a full-length album until January 2025 with Who Let the Dogs Out. The duo broke out through a series of increasingly rabid live shows, and are gearing up for another rowdy tour this spring. After performing at both weekends of Coachella, Lambrini Girls will play across the United States and Canada through May 5, before trekking through Europe
