Shaboozey Returns With New Album The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales

Shaboozey has released a fiery trailer for his next album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. In the short, narrator Jamie Foxx puts on a Southern accent, drawling “There’s a hefty price to pay for revenge,” as a Wild West town erupts in flames. Watch the video below.

Out July 31 on American Dogwood, Cherie Lee follows the country star’s third album, 2024’s Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going. The forthcoming concept project centers a protagonist named Cherie Lee, a woman who must challenge “everything she once thought true about her world,” Shaboozey said in a statement.

Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going was a journal entry and an opportunity for the world to get to know more about me as a person,” Shaboozey continued. “That album changed my life. I never expected people to connect with the album and enjoy it the way they did. But now I want to show the world who I am as an artist and storyteller.”

As of now, the track list for The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tale has not been announced.
