Boards of Canada Reveal New Album Inferno

Boards of Canada have concluded their month-long teaser campaign by announcing Inferno, the Scottish duo’s first album since 2013. It drops May 29 via their longtime label Warp. The 18-song tracklist and album art can be found below.

In March, mysterious VHS tapes stamped with a hexagon and filled with random clips and static unexpectedly arrived at Boards’ fans houses, signaling the imminent return of brothers Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin. They followed it up with a series of teaser posters and, finally, “Tape 05,” their first new music in 13 years.
