Kylie Minogue Netflix Series Gets First Trailer

Kylie Minogue has opened her archives for a new, three-part Netflix docuseries, the first trailer for which is out now. Kylie, streaming from May 30, chronicles the pop superstar’s rise, from her childhood in Australia to her breakout in soap opera Neighbors and eventual, turbulent arrival on the world pop stage. Michael Harte, a longtime documentary editor whose work includes Netflix’s Beckham series, steps up to direct. Check out the trailer below.

Minogue’s longtime close collaborator Nick Cave, one of several talking heads in the doc, is quoted in the trailer extolling her virtues: “Kylie is this force,” he says. “It’s all outward, giving.” Her sister, Dannii Minogue, old flame Jason Donovan, and svengali Pete Waterman are among the other contributors to the series.
