Watch Foo Fighters Perform Two Songs on Colbert

Foo Fighters were the musical guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night (April 4). Before the performance of a pair of songs—“Window” and “Caught in the Echo”—Dave Grohl joined Colbert to discuss the end of Nirvana, the origins of Foo Fighters’ 31-year career, and the advice he would give to daughter Violet Grohl, whom he has helped springboard into a career as a rock-pop star. Watch it go down below.

Grohl went on to share anecdotes about the latest Foos album, the But Here We Are follow-up Your Favorite Toy, which he helped promote on a day off by hiding CDs with a bunch of unreleased music around the San Fernando Valley area. The band is preparing to head out on a stadium tour this summer.
