Future Announces New Album The Real Me

Spotify spent the last week teasing a mysterious new project called TRM on billboards across the country. Predictions varied—it’s a Selena Gomez album! No, it’s a Carti project!—but now we have the real answer: It’s a Future album called The Real Me. No other details (release date, artwork, whether Future’s frenemy Drake is involved, etc.) have been shared yet; we’ve reached out to Pluto’s rep for more information.

It’s been nearly two years since the last Future solo album, 2024’s Mixtape Pluto. In the interim, he’s hopped on tracks by Lisa, Young Thug, and the Weeknd. Earlier this year, Future appeared on J. Cole’s The Fall-Off, reunited with Drake on the latter’s Iceman, and performed alongside Tyla at the opening ceremony for the FIFA World Cup.
