Cindy Lee to Release Diamond Jubilee on Vinyl

Cindy Lee, the project of former Women frontperson Patrick Flegel, is finally giving their standout album Diamond Jubilee the vinyl treatment. It’s coming out on February 21 via W.25th/Superior Viaduct, as are CD copies. What’s more, Lee has also uploaded Diamond Jubilee to their Bandcamp for streaming.

Up until now, Diamond Jubilee was only available to listen to on YouTube or by purchasing a digital download through Lee’s Geocities page – something they did with previous albums as well. However, several of Lee’s records eventually made their way to Bandcamp in time, including 2020’s What’s Tonight to Eternity and 2018’s Model Express. Others, like Cat O’ Nine Tails, Act of Tenderness, and Tatlashea, are only accessible through that Geocities page.

Since releasing Diamond Jubilee back in April, Lee has also teamed up with Panda Bear for the collaborative single “Defense.” It appears on the Animal Collective member’s upcoming solo album, Sinister Grift.
