Post Malone Seems to Leak News of Coachella Appearance With 2025 Tour Announcement

Post Malone has announced a 2025 North American stadium tour that will feature support from fellow country music stars Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell. The tour, called the Big Ass Stadium Tour, will begin in Malone’s adopted hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, and wrap up, on July 1, in San Francisco. See Malone’s tour dates below.

Malone shared a poster for his tour across his social media pages, and it reveals two dates that are not included in the press release for the tour. The singer will perform in Indio, California, on April 13 and April 20. It just so happens that those are the two 2025 Sundays of Indio’s most famous event, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Given Malone’s superstar status, it’s not impossible that he’ll be headlining the festival.

Malone’s tour is produced by Live Nation, and Coachella is organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of Live Nation’s biggest rival, AEG Presents. The difference in promoters could explain why the shows are not mentioned in the tour’s press release. In addition, Goldenvoice typically reveals the Coachella lineup each January.

Representatives for Post Malone and Coachella did not immediately respond to Pitchfork’s requests for comment.
