Great Grandpa Announce New Album, Share New Song “Junior”: Listen


Great Grandpa have announced a new album. Patience, Moonbeam is the Seattle indie-rock quintet’s long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Four of Arrows, and it’s out March 28 via Run for Cover. The album features the previously released songs “Doom” and “Kid,” as well as the new single “Junior,” which is out today. Listen to it below.

“We’re all like individual swinging pendulums,” guitarist Dylan Hanwright said of the band’s creative process in a press statement. “Every now and then we come into sync for a few rotations.… When it does come together, it’s really beautiful.”

At the end of the month, Great Grandpa will play a short run of shows on the East Coast, with two California dates lined up in March, too. Scroll down for those, plus the full Patience, Moonbeam tracklist.
