Madlib Launches Fundraiser After Losing Home and Music Equipment in Los Angeles Wildfires

Madlib has disclosed that he and his family lost their home in the wildfires that are spreading across the Los Angeles area. Due to “losing their home, decades of music, and equipment,” they’re seeking donations “to help Madlib with immediate personal needs, essentials like clothing, temporary housing, transportation costs and the tools Madlib needs to continue creating the music that has touched so many lives.” You can head to Donorbox to learn more and donate.

Since the wildfires broke out in California last week, many artists have been affected and sought help. There have been fundraisers for Zachary Cole Smith, Fat Tony, Tim Darcy, and more, while organizations including MusiCares and BeyGood have made donations to support relief efforts. There will also be a benefit concert, on Thursday, January 30, to support victims of the wildfires.
