Harmony Korine Announces Immersive New York Premiere for Burial-Scored New Movie Baby Invasion

Harmony Korine has announced the New York premiere of his experimental new film Baby Invasion. The immersive screening will take place at New York’s Knockdown Center on Friday, March 21, where the director and his digital IP-based studio Edglrd will present a reimagined version of the film as Korine deconstructs and live-mixes it onsite, applying DJ techniques to cinema. An original score by Burial will accompany the visuals. Live DJ sets from Korine, Eyedress, and Yves Tumor will follow the presentation.

Baby Invasion is presented as a hyper-realistic, multiplayer first-person shooter game following a group of mercenaries masking their identity with baby face avatars. Players are tasked with looting mansions of the rich and powerful, and exploring every rabbit hole before time runs out.

Baby Invasion premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival.
