Watch Marika Hackman Perform and Discuss “Skin” at Abbey Road Studios

Marika Hackman is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album, We Slept at Last, by enlisting Laura Marling to duet on a new version of “Skin” from the LP. Hackman also paid a visit to Abbey Road Studios to perform the song, as part of Abbey Road’s annual collaboration with Pitchfork Music Festival London. Watch both videos below.

Hackman self-produced the Marling-assisted “Skin” update, working between Abbey Road, its Gatehouse wing, and her home studio. The British singer-songwriter’s last album, Big Sigh, came out last year.

The Abbey Road Amplify x Pitchfork London series pairs artists playing the festival with Abbey Road engineers to make a recording. Previous entries include a collaboration between Ian Sweet and Porridge Radio and another between I. Jordan and Planningtorock.
