Pavement Movie Gets Official Trailer: Watch

The first official trailer for Pavements, Alex Ross Perry’s Pavement movie, is out today, along with details of its cinema release. Premieres in New York and Los Angeles, on May 2 and May 9, respectively, will precede the film’s nationwide release on June 6. The trailer presents the film’s documentary, biopic, and mockumentary strands in a relentlessly meta collage, mixing archival footage with talking-heads interviews, backstage footage, and clips from the movie-within-a-movie Pavement biopic starring Joe Keery, Jason Schwartzman, Fred Hechinger, Tim Heidecker, Logan Miller, Griffin Newman, and Nat Wolff.

The full trailer follows a teaser released earlier this month that presented that movie-within-a-movie, Range Life: A Pavement Story, as the feature itself, with Keery in the starring role.
