Aminé Confirms New Album 13 Months of Sunshine


Aminé recently returned with the new song “Familiar” and indicated that he’d be releasing a new album soon, too. The Portland, Oregon, rapper has now confirmed that 13 Months of Sunshine will arrive on May 16 via 10K Projects. Take a look at the album cover, and find the “Familiar” video, below.

Buddy Ross, Jim-E Stack, Loukeman, and Pasqué co-produced “Familiar.” Upon the single’s release, Aminé stated, “You love somebody while knowing that it’s not the right thing to do, but it’s still hard to let go. I let a little bit of my toxic side onto the track, too, but I think that honesty is important.”

13 Months of Sunshine will mark Aminé’s first solo studio album since August 2020’s Limbo. He more recently collaborated with Kaytranada on Kaytraminé.
