Black Country, New Road have shared a new song. “For the Cold Country” is the third single from the British sextet’s forthcoming album, Forever Howlong, and the first to feature pianist and accordionist May Kershaw as the lead vocalist. Listen to it below.

Black Country, New Road have previewed Forever Howlong with “Besties” and “Happy Birthday.” Those tracks featured Georgia Ellery and bassist Tyler Hyde, respectively, as lead vocalists.

Forever Howlong, which was produced with Fontaines D.C. and Arctic Monkeys collaborator James Ford, releases on April 4 via Ninja Tune. It’s the group’s third studio album—following 2021’s For the First Time and 2022’s Ants From Up There—and first without founding vocalist Isaac Wood.
