Leikeli47 Details New Album, Shares Video for New Song “Soft Serve”: Watch

Leikeli47 has outlined the details of her upcoming album: Lei Keli ft. 47 / For Promotional Use Only will be released on June 13. Featured on LP is the new song “Soft Serve,” which also comes with a video directed by Dana Rice. Watch it below.

Spanning 11 songs in total, including the single “450,” Lei Keli ft. 47 / For Promotional Use Only is Leikeli47’s first album since wrapping up her acclaimed beauty trilogy with 2022’s Shape Up. The new album was executive-produced by Leikeli47 and Harold Lilly, and features production by the same team that helped define that beauty series.

“The complexion of this album is coming of age,” Leikeli47 said in a statement. “It’s about innovating my spaces and how I only sell out to the moment. My soul, my gift, and my service is never for sale. This new LP is personal and playful. Harmonic and melodic. Raw and heartfelt. Edgy and elevated. It’s a dedication to the visionaries who reside in their own world. The mask is off and the perspective is aerial.”

That latter line refers to the fact that, up until just recently, Leikeli47 has always performed—both in videos and onstage—while wearing a mask or obscuring her face through other means. She exposed her face for the first time in last year’s “450” video. Moving forward, she plans to keep her identity in plain sight as a way to embrace a fresh start.
