Iggy Pop, Jack White, and Sex Pistols to Play New CBGB Festival

A new one-day music festival is scheduled for later this year in New York. CBGB Festival—not affiliated with the citywide CBGB Music and Film Festival of the early 2010s—will take place September 21 at Brooklyn’s Under the K Bridge Park. Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, and Jack White are set to headline, with the Smiths’ Johnny Marr, Soul Glo, YHWH Nailgun, the Linda Lindas, Lip Critic, and Lambrini Girls also among the artists appearing on the bill. Check out the festival poster below.

A press release accompanying the festival announcement reads: “The lineup connects punk’s originators with its fiercest future voices, all answering one core question: Who would be playing at CBGB today?
