Mechatok Announces Debut Album, Taps Ecco2k and Bladee for New Video: Watch


Mechatok has announced his debut solo studio album: Wide Awake is out August 8 via Young. Featured on the German-born producer and songwriter’s new album is a collaboration with Ecco2k and Bladee called “Expression on Your Face.” Watch the track’s music video, directed by Anton Tammi, below.

Wide Awake follows Mechatok’s Defective Holiday OST and his album with Bladee, Good Luck. The new album includes the recent songs “Addiction” and “Virus Freestyle,” as well as collaborations with F5ve, Tohji, and Isbella Lovestory. It does not, however, include “Makka,” Mechatok’s recent standout track with Fakemink and Ecco2k.
