Animal Collective Share New Song “Love on the Big Screen”: Listen

Animal Collective have shared their first new music of 2025. Produced by Avey Tare and Drop of Sun Studios founder Adam McDaniel, “Love on the Big Screen” will appear—along with still-unreleased B-side “Buddies on the Blackboard”—on a 7″ vinyl single that’s out August 1 via Domino. Listen to the new song below.

Last year, Animal Collective reissued their seminal 2004 LP, Sung Tongs, for its 20th anniversary, also sharing the live recording Sung Tongs Live at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. Their latest studio album, Isn’t It Now?, came out in 2023. In March, the band’s Panda Bear put out the solo LP Sinister Grift.
