Jenny Hval Cancels 2025 North American Tour Dates

Jenny Hval has cancelled her forthcoming North American tour dates in support of her new album, Iris Silver Mist. The Norwegian artist shared the news in a statement posted to Instagram earlier today (June 30). Hval was set to perform in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Chicago, Toronto, and New York City this September. Read her full message below.

Hval did not share a specific reason for the cancellation. However, artists such as FKA Twigs and Mexico’s Grupo Firme have struggled with obtaining timely U.S. tour visas under the Trump administration. “I’m really sorry for the change and hope to see you at another show soon,” Hval wrote. She last toured North America in 2022.

Hval released Iris Silver Mist in May. Her ninth studio album was led by the singles “To Be a Rose” and “The Artist is Absent.”
