Dan Deacon Performs the National Anthem at Baltimore Orioles Game: Watch

Dan Deacon performed the national anthem ahead of the Baltimore Orioles’ game against the New York Mets on Thursday, July 10. The Baltimore artist’s unique electronic rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” proved to be motivational for his hometown team, as the Orioles defeated the Mets 7-3. Head to Instagram to watch the performance, and see photos of it below.

Deacon has not released a traditional studio album since 2020’s Mystic Familiar. He’s mostly stayed busy scoring films and television programs and releasing soundtrack albums. His most recent soundtrack album, for Venom: The Last Dance, arrived in October.

Back in 2023, fellow Baltimoreans Turnstile threw out the first pitch at an Orioles game. Revisit that moment here.
