Los Campesinos! Release New Live Album So Close to Heaven (Live at Troxy): Listen

Los Campesinos! have released So Close to Heaven, a new live album that captures the band’s two-night stand at London’s Troxy in February. Los Campesinos! were joined at the shows by violinist Holly Carpenter, cellist Blossom Caldarone, saxophonist Emma Johnson, trumpeter Ewan Whyte, and trombonist Viva Msimang. The live album was recorded by Paul Rattcliff and Mathew Acreman; mixed by Gareth Bodman; and mastered by Andrei Eremin. Listen to an excerpt of the album below.

For now, So Close to Heaven (Live at Troxy) is available exclusively on Bandcamp and the Los Campesinos! website. It’ll make its way to additional digital streaming platforms on Wednesday, August 27.

Los Campesinos! released the comeback album All Hell last year. It was their first album since 2017, and they followed it with a companion EP called More Hell.
