Daft Punk to Join Fortnite Universe

Daft Punk are the latest musical act joining Fortnite. The video game will bring in 31 songs from the French electronic duo’s catalog for the Daft Punk Experience, an immersive music world that highlights the group’s discography throughout various interactive rooms. The new game mode launches on Saturday, September 27, at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

The Daft Punk Experience, billed as the game’s “biggest musical experience,” will allow players to remix and create mashups of songs, create Lego music videos featuring the band, or make their avatars dance at the Daft Club, which features a supercut of footage from the band’s Alive tour and Alive 2007 live album. A new bundle in the Fortnite Shop will also include Daft Punk’s iconic TB3 and GM08 helmets, outfits, and accessories, plus instruments and a “Get Lucky” Jam Track.

Over the years, Fortnite has hosted several in-game concerts, including those by the Weeknd, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, and others.
