Phoenix and Braxe + Falcon are UFOs. The new project from the French indie-rock band and house duo launches today with a nearly self-titled debut single, “UFO,” which you can check out below. Warren Fu directed the photo-montage video.
UFO said in a press release, “I don’t believe in Miracles but I do believe in UFO: Six friends, one song, infinite memories.” “UFO” is also out now as a 12″ vinyl, via Domino imprint Smugglers Way. No news yet on whether more music will follow.
Braxe + Falcon, already a supergroup of sorts, formally united in 2022 with the Step by Step EP. The following year, they remixed “Winter Solstice,” a Phoenix song from the band’s latest album, 2022’s Alpha Zulu.
