Yaeji Enlists Underscores and Aliyah’s Interlude for New Song “Booboo2”: Watch the Video

Yaeji has enlisted the hyperpop artist Underscores and rapper Aliyah’s Interlude for a new song. “Booboo2” is the sequel to—and reinvention of—Yaeji’s 2024 single, and her first song since March’s “Pondeggi.” (“A year ago today, I wrote a banger that goes like: Booboo, don’t touch me,” the song begins.) Watch a lyric video animated by Caroline Waxse below, and scroll down to see the single art.

Yaeji has released a string of loosies and collaborations since With a Hammer, starting with “Easy Breezy” and including recent collaborations with Bambii and Girl Talk, as well as a Teddy Geiger collaboration, “Pink Ponies,” for the Red Hot compilation Transa. She also remixed the South Korean boy band Ateez’s song “In Your Fantasy” in July.
