Netflix’s The Vince Staples Show Gets Season 2 Trailer: Watch

The first trailer for season 2 of The Vince Staples Show is here. Below, watch Staples rattle through a series of hijinks on “a wild journey in search of inner peace,” as the Netflix synopsis puts it. The six-episode series arrives on the platform on November 6.

The satirical comedy series, featuring a fictionalized Vince Staples, picks up in the wake of the death of his Uncle James (Beau Billingslea), as he sets off on a road trip with his mother, Anita (Vanessa Bell Calloway), and sister, Bri (Naté Jones). Staples said in the series announcement, “We’re able to have 365 episodes of this thing because they’re all based on what it’s like to just exist day-to-day. Next for Vince is literally anything because anything could happen at any moment, that’s just how life works.”

Staples released his latest album, Dark Times, last year. Read Alphonse Pierre’s column “Vince Staples Turns Rap Stardom Anxieties Into Comedy on The Vince Staples Show.”
