The Veiled World of Nick Cave Documentary Coming to Sky

A new Nick Cave documentary will air on Sky Documentaries this year, in tandem with the imminent, Matt Smith-helmed adaptation of The Death of Bunny Munro from Sky Originals. The Veiled World of Nick Cave features contributions from Florence Welch, Colin Greenwood, Wim Wenders, Warren Ellis, Bella Freud, and Irvine Welsh, who will share anecdotes on his friendship and influence. No air date has been set for either the doc or TV show, but two episodes of the latter will preview in London at the end of the month.

Phil Edgar-Jones, executive director of unscripted originals on Sky, said in the press release, “Nick Cave is one of those incomparable artists whose power of storytelling knows no bounds. His vivid landscapes are brought to life through his lyrics, his books, his music and his ceramics. We’re delighted to be lifting the lid on his brilliantly multi-layered world in this special.”
