The first trailer is here for The Death of Bunny Munro, the Matt Smith–helmed TV adaptation of Nick Cave’s 2009 novel. The trailer shows Smith as the titular character, a door-to-door salesman who embarks on a debauched road trip with his young son while dealing with sex addiction and his wife’s suicide. Scored by Cave and Warren Ellis, the six-part series arrives on November 20

Writer Pete Jackson adapted the book, with Isabella Eklöf directing; Sarah Greene (Bad Sisters) stars as Munro’s late wife, Libby, and Rafael Mathé makes his TV debut as his son. Cave and Smith executive-produced the series for Sky Original, which will present the series via Sky TV and the UK streaming service Now.
