Patti Smith appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night (November 6) to discuss her new memoir, Bread of Angels, and some of the career-spanning anecdotes featured therein. In the extended chat with host Stephen Colbert, she discussed her National Book Award win for Just Kids, her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe, the 50th anniversary of Horses, the arrival of the new book in a dream, and more.
