Lady Gaga Covers Mister Rogers’ “Won’t You Be My Neighbor”

On February 8, Super Bowl LX will see the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots go head to head in Santa Clara, California while Bad Bunny takes the stage for the game’s halftime show. One of the many commercials expected to play during the game comes from Redfin and Rocket Mortgage, who recruited Lady Gaga to cover the Mister Rogers’ theme song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor.” You can hear the Grammy-winning singer perform some of the song in a behind-the-scenes short film below.

“Mr. Rogers was so clearly someone who stood for something and it is powerful to think of what he would say right now,” she said in the short, explaining that it’s a “special song to revisit at this time.”
