Iceage Return With First Single in 5 Years


Iceage are back: “Star,” the Danes’ first original song in five years, is out now with a video from Thinh T. Petrus Nguyen. Check it out below. For now, the news comes with a single tour date: an August 14 show at Syd for Solen in their native Copenhagen.

In the five years since Seek Shelter, the follow-up to 2018’s Beyondless, the quintet has released a compilation called Shake the Feeling: Outtakes & Rarities 2015–2021, which was led by a pair of Beyondless outtakes. In the interim, Elias Rønnenfelt has shared a pair of solo records: 2024’s Heavy Glory and the following year’s Speak Daggers. Also in 2025, he contributed to the Dean Blunt EP Lucre.
