Jack Black to Host, Jack White to Perform on Super-Jack Saturday Night Live

In 2019, Jack White, Jack Black, and Kyle Gass joined forces for the one-off Tenacious D recording “Don’t Blow It, Kage.” Now the Jacks (aka Jack Gray) are set to reunite for the April 4 episode of Saturday Night Live. While White is the musical guest and Black is set to host, it’s safe to assume these two will appear on screen together at some point in the evening.

In other SNL news, the program’s new British spinoff, Saturday Night Live UK, has announced its inaugural host and musical guest; the March 21 series premiere will see Tina Fey at the helm with Isle of Wight natives’ Wet Leg performing.

In January, Gass revealed he and Black were back on good terms following a Tenacious D show where the former made a joke about the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. White’s latest album, No Name, was released in 2024.
