JWords Announces New Album Sound Therapy

JWords is releasing a new solo album next month. The New Jersey producer will self-release Sound Therapy on May 8, and a lead single, “Lush,” is out today. Listen to that below.

Sound Therapy follows JWords’ 2022 solo debut Self-Connection, and marks her first time singing lead vocals on a project. It features Kingsley Ibeneche and Nappy Nina, whose 2021 record Double Down JWords produced. Outside her solo work, JWords is also one-half of the duo H31R, alongside Brooklyn rapper Maassai. Their most recent album, Headspace, came out in 2023.
