Cass McCombs and Hand Habits Team Up for New Split 7″

Cass McCombs and Hand Habits are joining forces on a new split 7″. The record features original songs by both artists, with McCombs offering up “Seeing the Elephant” and Meg Duffy bringing “Good Person.” It’s being released via Domino/Fat Possum. McCombs has gone ahead and shared his new song, which comes with a Larry Unrein-directed music video featuring real elephants wagging their tails and drinking water in the wild. Check it out below.

If you want first dibs on the split 7″, then you better saddle up at one of McCombs’ upcoming shows. He’s currently in the midst of his tour celebrating the release of last year’s Interior Live Oak and will have copies of the record available at his merch table. After that, remaining copies will be available to order online, with pre-orders currently ongoing.

While the openers on McCombs’ tour have been trading off legs on this route, Hand Habits’ run is up next, where they will join him for six concerts between April 4 and April 11. Picking up the slack after that will be Lael Neale and Garcia Peoples.
