Isaiah Rashad Confronts His Shadow in New “Same Sh!t” Video

Isaiah Rashad has marked the announcement of his new album, It’s Been Awful, with his first single in five years. “Same Sh!t” comes with a video in which the TDE rapper mopes around in his daily routine before encountering a mysterious figure in a dark alley. Watch it go down below.

Of the album, Rashad says in a press release, “Conceptually, the song reflects what matters most to me- my family, taking care of myself, and the everyday grind. At its core, it’s about hustling, showing up and putting in the work every single day. With all the experimentation and sounds across the album, I wanted to ensure there was something that spoke directly to where I’m from, for my older brothers, for that core audience. It’s that trunk-rattling type of record.”

It’s Been Awful arrives May 1 via TDE/Warner. Rashad is getting ready to launch the second leg of his Clivia Demo 10th anniversary shows.
