The Strokes Plot Tour of North America, Europe, and Japan


The Strokes will launch a tour of North America in June, before heading to Japan, back for some West Coast U.S. dates and festivals, and finally to Europe for an arena tour. Supporting the shows are combinations of Thundercat, the Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser, Cage the Elephant, Ölüm, and, in Europe, Alex Cameron and Fat White Family. The tour comes off the back of a flurry of Strokes activity including the announcement of a new, Rick Rubin-produced album—Reality Awaits, the follow-up to 2020’s The New Abnormal—a single called “Going Shopping,” and, on Saturday night, their return to Coachella.
