Listen to Kacey Musgraves’ New Song “Middle of Nowhere”

Kacey Musgraves has shared “Middle of Nowhere,” the title track of her May-bound follow-up to Deeper Well. The song takes its name from a real, self-deprecating sign propped up in her tiny hometown of Golden, Texas. Check it out below.

The single arrives as Musgraves prepares to make a second-weekend appearance at Coachella on Saturday afternoon, following her addition to the lineup this week. She announced her return last month, setting a May 1 release date (via Lost Highway) and sharing a sassy video for lead single “Dry Spell” set in a grocery store. Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, and Billy Strings are among the guests on the album.
