REVIEW – Filth Is Eternal – Impossible World

Filth Is Eternal released new album Impossible World on March 17 through MNRK Heavy.

The album kicks off with Stay Melted and I love the downstated yet focal guitar and bass lines. I wasn’t too keen on the opening of Long Way as the feedback towards the start was a bit painful for my ears but it wasn’t a terrible track.

Acetylene has come catchy lyrics and the addition of the hospital heart rate monitor beep was a nice touch.

Gina Gleason joins the fun for Desire and it’s a good track. Their vocals work well together.

The Bad Faith guitar lines are just *chefs kiss*.

Female-fronted punk bands are much easier for me to get into apparently as I’m not usually a fan of the genre but vocalist Lis Di’Angelo has a perfect voice for it.

Throughout the album, there’s great vocals, guitars, bass and drum moments that are really enjoyable to listen to, particularly in Hellfire.

As I said earlier, I’m not much of a fan of punk but this is a strong record and I feel like you’ll be a fan of this if punk is more your thing.
