Ariana Grande Announces New Album Petal

Ariana Grande has a new studio album on the way. Petal, the follow-up to Eternal Sunshine, is executive produced and co-written by Grande and Ilya, reuniting her with the “Problem” hitmaker. The album is due July 31 via Republic. Check out the cover art below.

In a press release, Grande describes Petal as “something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.” The album marks her return to music after a period of blockbuster screen success, notably in the Wicked franchise. Last August, she announced a comeback to the musical stage with a major tour that kicks off this June; it’s her first since 2019. Her starring role in Focker-in-Law, the latest installment in the Meet the Parents franchise, was unveiled in a trailer this month.
