Peter Bjorn and John Plot Writer’s Block 20th Anniversary Tour

Do you hear a whistle off in the distance? It’s Peter Bjorn and John, who just announced a North American tour to ring in the 20th anniversary of their most popular album, Writer’s Block. The Swedish indie-pop trio will embark on the trip this fall, beginning on October 10 in Querétaro, Mexico, and ending on October 25 in Miami. Opening most of the shows will be Josh Rouse. See their full list of tour dates below.

Beyond the critical praise, Writer’s Block was the first Peter Bjorn and John album to chart on the Billboard 200. It features their massive hit “Young Folks” as well as other popular singles, “Amsterdam” and “Let’s Call It Off.” A press releases promises that in addition to Writer’s Block favorites, Peter Bjorn and John will also “revisit standout moments from their expansive catalog, creating a show that honors both the album’s legacy and the band’s enduring career.”

Peter Bjorn and John released their most recent studio album, Endless Dream, in March 2020. Following their “darker” 2018 LP, Endless Dream was written to embody a brighter, more colorful sound that harkened back to their earlier days.
