Bleecker Street’s Crosswalk and Universal Pictures Content Group to release film that will be accompanied by new Mary McCartney-directed short Finding Faith
George Michael: The Faith Tour, the unreleased concert film capturing the singer’s 1988 concerts in Paris on his first solo tour, has found distributors ahead of its theatrical release later this year.
Bleecker Street’s Crosswalk will release the film in North America — including a run of early access IMAX screenings — with Universal Pictures Content Group handling worldwide distribution.
The film, directed by longtime Michael collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin, features unseen footage from Michael’s two gigs at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy (now the Accor Arena) during the European leg of the singer’s Faith Tour. Fourteen 35-mm cameras were employed during the two-night shoot.
Additionally, the concert film is preceded by a new Mary McCartney-directed short titled Finding Faith, featuring voiceover from Michael during an unheard interview alongside unseen images captured by legendary American photographer Herb Ritts and behind-the-scenes footage of the ‘Faith’ music video.

We also can’t wait for a whole new generation to experience just how extraordinary he was as a creative force, performer and musical auteur.”
In accompany the film’s release in late-2026, George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment will release The Faith Tour, an 18-track live album of previously unreleased recordings featuring hits from Michael’s Wham! and solo catalogues.
