An archival album of John Prine music, originally released in a limited run for Record Store Day 2026, is coming to streaming services on October 9, via Oh Boy. Today, “World Without Love,” one of five unreleased songs on the LP, has been unveiled. Watch a lyric video, assembled from Super 8 footage of Prine on a family vacation in the early 1970s, below.
Found Dogs, released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings, also features alternate versions of several Prine cuts as well as a cover of Johnny Horton’s “All for the Love of a Girl.” A series of events and tributes around the singer-songwriter’s 80th birthday—title Souvenirs: 80 Years of John Prine—is well under way. Last month, Oh Boy released the 2010 concert recording Live at Old Town School of Folk.
